JBL D38's?

Any opinions on these speakers: JBL D38 Decade Series three way bookshelf speakers?
Better than Bose 301 series one? (Iknow, it's all I got...).
I'm looking into a used pair this week.
Thanks for any replies.

Thanks folks, at 92 db, they're not incredibly efficient are they?
Would a pair of Boston Acoustics A60`s be a better choice?

92 is above average.

A60's have more of a following. No buzz on D38's.

I got these speakers this week and very impressed! Seem like quite a hollow box but quite the nice sound!
