Tubes warm your heart too
A while back I promised myself and everyone else here at AK that I one day would present the LX-880 Pioneer receiver that I've had for a few years now.
One day is to day!
Not much info is to be found on the web about this early SS Pioneer TOTL receiver, so in order to secure that pictures are to found somewhere I took some photos, put them on the web and will add the photos to this post.
I have the OM/SM that I scanned some month ago and it is now available at the Pioneer database server here in the Pioneer section of AK.
I haven't use the LX-880 much but from what I've noticed the sound of it is a bit warmer than eg. a SX-550 sitting next to it at a shelf here.
As you can see from the pictures it is in very good condition and apparently in fully working order.
