Anybody know anything about this German loudspeaker manufacturer from the 50's and 60's?

Made some interesting fullrange drivers.

This is all that I have found so far (other than some ebay console "pulls"). This came from a Romanian audio website. From what I have found thus far the words "Kingdom" and "Lorenz" are often listed together. Looks like from this advert to be a company in NYC.

Found an old add on eBay that had them advertised as Kingdom Lorenz as well.

No I did not find any, but have seen the name and wondered how they would be.

I had a pair of 1950 BBC studio monitors which had Lorenz LPH 65 clear foil super tweeters added to them in 1957 by the BBC.
They are very good.

Schwab-Lorenz was(is?) a large German electronics firm that made everything from audio equipment to short-wave radios.

Lorenz was a West German electronics company whose QC was on par with JBL in the 50s and very early 60s. I haven't seen a bad Telefunken or Grundig product from that era, so it stands to reason that Lorenz will also be well above average.

Have a Lorenz L8T full range guitar speaker, and it smokes the 8 ohm JBL 8T I used to have.

HERE'S some Lorenz for ya :

I love the German hi-fi stuff . . . . I've never heard a Lorenz, but do have some emud fullrangers on open baffles, some isophon cone tweeters which sound REAL nice, and a single Dynacord three-driver tower speaker from the 50's which is currently the heart of my mono system . . .

I'm grabbing a complete Emud console next week for CHEAP $$ if you have some Lorenz stuff on the line, GRAB IT :thmbsp:

Those should have coaxial tweeters mounted in front of the woofer, but I seem to see a driver mounted in the cabinet. What is it?
The Lorenz LPH-65 tweeter bracket was sold as an option and could be mounted over the top of LP-1288 to "make" a LP-312-2. I've never seen the brackets-only for sale - ever. They always are mounted with the big woofer.
