I've seen some nice Keith Monks type record cleaners here, but not sure I want to dedicate the space to one. Besides I've alway been good at keeping my vinyl surgically clean and using only a carbon fiber brush. I have 600-700 'new to me' LPs to clean and I'd just as soon get them done and put away in new rice paper sleeves ASAP. I like the simplicity of the GEM Record Cleaner as well. So thusly inspired I made a 5 LP version of the GEM type today. It's made out of 4" ABS, 4" test caps, 1" PVC, sink gaskets & SS hardware. I've taped together two soft wheel brushes so I can wash both sides at once. I'll use it the first time tomorrow and see how she rolls. I'm already figuring out how to use my BBQ rotisserie motor or Kitchenaid mixer to mechanize it. I've been trying various cleaning methods and I am getting good results with just a little Dawn and some alcohol in luke warm water followed by a high presure rinse and patting (not rubbing) them dry with a diaper. A few spins with the carbon fiber brush kills the static. Anybody try Simple Green?
