Uploading pics for windows users

Here is a little tutorial on uploading pics to Audiokarma made easy using the small and easy to use freeware Ifranview for Windows.
You Mac Mc's are on your own.

I am using beans' pic as it was easy to find. I hope you don't mind beans.

OK, here we go.
After you install, use it to open the picture you wish to upload.
Step One:
Click the dropdown menu image then resize as shown.




That will give you the resize window shown here:




Change the settings to read 900 maximum in the larger numbered box. On this jpg it is 1000. Then set the DPI in the lower left to 100. Here in this window it is 200.

This is the resized window:




Then click the OK to close it, it will then look like this:




Last, you need to save it as shown using whatever file name, directory, or overwrite the source picture.




That's it.


Part 2:

Uploading to the forum.

Open the Manage Attachments window:





Then locate the file to upload and click the upload button. It will look like this on a successful upload.




Then click either Close The Window, done.
You can add 5 pictures per post this way.

And yes, you can put the link to any single already properly sized pic on the web and upload it here by using the Upload File from a URL.
