ANOTHER new toy, the great Onkyo Integra M-510

Yes, fresh off the heels of my recent Accuphase acquisition, I just picked up the new center piece of my main system. The truly rare Onkyo Grand Integra M-510. I got my hands on this BAD BOY up this weekend. I must say, it's one of the prettiest amps I've seen and heavy as an obese corpse. As for the sound, well it is truly rounded and organic. I am including a wealth of pictures because there are few pictures out there on the web and as for other owners, I think there is only one other AKer, but his last post was in 2005. I auditioned this at the previous owner's home using his Mbl 101 E speakers rounded out with some vintage Bozaks in the background. A Remarkable music experience and this Onkyo drove the Mbl's with ease. I will post more of my thoughts, so without further adieu:

I've owned a few M-504's and been very impressed with those amps. I'll bet that big boy has no problem powering what ever you throw at it.

My Orion says 300 WPC, list price of $4,500 in 1986 WOW!
 
Absolutely stunning. Onkyo deserves so much more praise than it gets...that is one of the most beautiful amps I've seen, and to think it came out in the '80s, when so very few things were of a design that has stood the test of time, at least according to how they looked. Congratulations, and excellent pictures.
