Looking for vintage audio technician in Redding,CA

By way of introduction, I am new to this forum and am looking for someone in Northern California to trouble shoot my 1957 Fisher Medalist II (am/fm/phono monaural console). The receiver is an R-20 and for some reason the radio section died immediately after replacing tubes...

Based on the information I have read on this forum I must be in the right place since I am willing to spend money fixing a 51 year old monaural radio! Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated...

Jiggle the tubes you replaced while the set is running. you may just have oxidation in one or more of your sockets -- or a defective tube!
 
Not worth the trouble. Set it by the side of the 5 northbound and I'll dispose of it for you as I blow through town early Thursday morning on my way to Oregon. :D

Redding huh? Good luck, its hard enough finding someone down here. As stated before, it may be oxidation or a bad tube. You may try replacing the old tubes back into the set, one at a time. If it worked once before, you just need to work backwards untill you find the error or bad part (the tubes are in the right sockets? Right?)
