PNW Gathering 2009

The 2009 Pacific Northwest AK gathering is on!
This is both a show and shine and a swap meet that will be held Saturday March 28 at 215 Academy St. Kelso, WA 98626. We will be using the meeting hall in the rear of the building, off Church Street.
Bring your unwanted gear to sell or trade or just bring a system or component that you would like for others to see and hear.
It's only $5, and soft drinks/bottled water will be provided. There are numerous places to eat within walking distance, so finding lunch won't be an issue. There is a covered loading/unloading area in the likely event that it will rain, no worries about your treasured gear getting wet.
I should have the doors open and tables out by 7:00 AM, so feel free to show up early, and there isn't really a set ending time.
I had a great time last March, and felt like the event came off quite well.

I'm in - not looking forward to the 4 hour+ drive from the Seattle area - but had a great time last spring, saw lots of interesting gear. thanks for organizing, Tarior!

...well worth the drive, I will have an extra seat in my truck or maybe several Seattle folks can carpool down there. Any weekend day in March should work for me.

Sweet, I'm glad to see that the interest is there.
Now let's just hope we don't get another freak storm.

Hey people with gas as cheap as it is (crossing fingers) this could be a good year to travel a little to get to a gathering. Heck find someone to ride with and share the trip. When I traveled to Whidby Island for the Gathering we had up there Ron rode up with me and we had a blast talking audio the whole way.

If you think in miles, it doesn't seem quite so far,
Only 267 miles.

Depending on the weekend, count me in. Hey Mark, if there's room, I'd love to drive up with you and renew our annual road trip.

Which weekend would work best for you? I'm going to try to make it as convenient as possible for as many as I can.

would like to hear Bozak speakers if you or Susurus (think he has a pair) can swing it. However, I understand that some of these Bozaks are not very portable.

DUDE YOUR ON. OK guys Ron has shot gun BUT if you don't mind sitting a little cramped (not for the larger guys trust me) I still got the back seat available. Not bad if you sit cross wise I'm told.

Aw, shucks! I'm heading to that area next week for the holidays (actually to visit my Dad), and would love to attend such an event, but it's doubtful I'll get back there again in March. Oh, well. Have fun, guys!

EDIT/UPDATE: Now I'm doubly-bummed. I was IN Kelso (either shopping or just driving through) several times in the past 2-3 weeks... and now that y'all are talking about having a gathering, I'm already back on the other side of the planet!

Still, like I said before, have fun, guys! I'll be with you in spirit, so to speak.

Will be there unless polar bears stop me.

Might have some homebrew setup by then.

Most of you have seen some of the more interesting pieces from my zoo. Maggies and DQ-10's, not rare, but almost never set up right.

Last year you already saw Speakerlab 7's and my E-stat hybrids... Maybe I should go for sonics instead of flash and oddness and bring DQ-20i's just to change things around? Still, the hall's too big for them.

Will I have the FultonJ's second tweeter array done yet?

Yes I have Bozak Symphonies, B3001 Concertos, and B301F bookshelfs. The Symps are the most interesting...and least portable by far.

Just thinking out loud here.
