i was wondering if some one had a list of caps to recap a sansui g 9000db thanks ive got one on my bench im restoreing if any one has a list thanks:thmbsp:

You know a lot of people recap these's receivers and amps if everyone who does a total recap of a unit made up a cap list it would benifit everyone here, Myself I have made a list for the 9090db that I have made and shared with some members upon request, one page is a total list for one receiver and I have it broken down to each board. I have a G8000 and a G9000 that one day I'm going to recap . If someone hasen't made a list by then then I will. If you two guys are redoing yours make a list and share.:thmbsp: englissa

i just bought this off of ebay and it was in bad shap the transformer had rust on it and the chassie that holds the caps,driverboards,and transformer has rust one it . i took the chassie out and the transformer took the transformer off the chassie and glass beaded the chassis and the side rales. im going to base coat clear coat the chassie and side panels. i have already reveneered the wood case i just thought having it tore down this far. i would go ahead and recape the power supply board and the driver boards and then work my way up to the tuner power supply and the tuner and tone controls .thanks for the reply guys ill start making a list tomarrow i just thought with this being a popular piece i figer some one would have a list:thmbsp:

i am this thing needs a lot of work im getting ready to order new caps for the power supply ,driver boards, and tone controls tuner and meter section im taking my time and doing it right ill post pics of the inside here in a bit im still at work

i took the chassie out of the amp when to harbor frieght and got glass beed and glass beeded it then im going to prime it with a 2k primer filler to fill un any improfection i ment glass beed sorry i will post pics of chassie peaces when done
