Thrift score...i think!

Picked these up at the local thrift for $15.00. I haven't really listened to them yet just tested the drivers and they all work:thmbsp:! Are these worth $15.00 ? Let me know what you guys think.

$15 is a nice price for any working speaker system. It really depends on how you like the sound.

Listen to them first before you determine if you paid too much for them. I think you may have been ripped off.

Dude. . .The NS-1000 speaker system retailed for $1,900 and was produced from 1976 - 1982. If these truly are these speakers, the current retail for them is $658 - $804. Uhhh. . .yeah, $15 is a decent price. NICE!

Yeah, but everybody knows that NS1000's are the worst speaker Yamaha ever made. Just ask these guys: http://www.audiokarma.org/forums/showthread.php?t=226168

Personally, I've got a sharp eye out for the Pelvic Thrusters.
