Stereo 45's - common or no?

Just picked ten 45's at the local thrift. These were an unusual lot of Italian songs - in Italian! 2 of them say "Stereo" on them. One is a Philips and one is by RCA. So...the question is - how common are stereo 45's?

Very common from the late 60's forward. Still, you'd see mono only singles thru the late 70's...most intended for the AM radio market.

Ok, just curious. Only 2 of the 10 say stereo on them, and that made me wonder how common they are. One of the titles is Lucio Dalla from 1999 (mono) so these seemed to be fairly recent. They all had jackets and seemed to be in above average condition.

It has been quite some time since I've seen 45's in decent shape. Most of what I see at the thrifts are pretty well beat, with no jackets - perhaps best used at the skeet range . . .

Maybe if I could read Italian, I could make out more....at least the word stereo is in English!
