Different seller.

Well, all of the gear is too rich for my blood & I never buy from someone with that low of feedback. Thanks for the heads up.
 
i asked if i can go and check his gear in person and he accepted. If its a scam he's a very brave scammer! :scratch2:

Did you go and see his Onkyo P-388?

I've seen these same photos doing the rounds on the internet for a few years now.Each time the auctions get closed down by ebay.
Each time it reappears under a different name.Same photos.Zero feedback(this time 1 feedback).
If you are confident send your money,then tell us what happened.
 
Pioneer T-09 on ebay.

I asked him if any possibility to pick up and did not have any replay.
Moreover to say a couple months ago I saw pretty the same set of the vintage gears on Audiogon with zero feedback.
I am still looking Pioneer PDS95 or T-09.
 
OK, this time i asked for his phone number and address. Do you see any danger in visiting this guy alone if is a scam? I' m very good in evaluating stereo equipment, but in some areas in NY i don't feel safe.

When you get the address check it out on Google Earth. You can pretty much tell from above what kind of neighbourhood the guy is living in...:smoke:

" THAT IS VERY NICE OF YOU, BUT THIS IS NOT PC RICHARD OR CIRCUIT CITY ". Strange when somebody with no feedback history and high value items reply this way. :no:

I had a feeling that his 'invitation' would hit a snag.

Take a mental note of all the photos of his auctions,and all the items.They will reoccur time and time again.
Become part of the vanguard to prevent people from falling into the trap.This is the best way to stymie these scammers.
 
I think this is the same scammer that BF ran into. I think that address said "Far Rockaway. The only difference is now he doesn't type in all caps.:thumbsdn:

Definitely sounds like a scam...the response kind of made me LOL though.
 
i's watching the denon gear, pretty sweet stuff. wondered if something fishy warn't goin' on...

Yep, the Agon listing has been deleted. I guess those guys must have realized this thread so they took down the listing on Agon. Let's see what's going on with the ePrey listing. I usually report any possible fraud on ePrey right away as I've seen one. :) :banana:
 
I wouldn't buy anything from her on general principle. Very neat stuff but I have a conscience and couldn't live with myself knowing what kind of person I was dealing with. I don't like assholes and I get the impressions from reading her listing that she is the high priestess from the darkside. I would love to hear the Ex-husbands side of the story. :yes:

This whole 'scenario' is one of the scammer's recent favourite stories.
I'd be certain that there is no female,or any of the other aspects of the story
