Here are pics of my new speaker stands. They are made of oak stained with Cherry Blossom stain. The adjustable plates are made of Bubinga (I think that is what it is) and just varnished. The turn buckle is for adjusting the tweets down to my listening position. I had to put the cans on the back stay to keep them from falling over. When the mids are on there, they will be stable.

Here is a little context. The Edgarhorns will go in the craddle and the Heils will go on the plate. Cheers.

Now I get it. I was completely confused.

Great work. Let's see a picture when in use please.

Yep, I am waiting for a couple of spacers to be made so I can mount the aircraft spinners. When I get those, I will post complete pics.

It will make totally sense when you seen it. By the by, I am working diligently on the PP 807 amp that I am making out of the amp you sent. Thanks again Nate.

Looking forward to seeing these in application, Dennis. I keep trying to dream up a way to handle this, but haven't came up with anything to my liking yet.

I don't have the horns stained yet but I will take pics and post them as soon as I get it all together.

Ok, got the stands done and the Edgarhorns stained blood red and urithaned (sp).

That is really sweet.. but I gotta admit, that's the first time I've ever seen a gas bottle turned into a floor lamp... Looks like a pretty interesting coating on it too...

Thanks Sim. I had it powder coated clear. You should have seen the guys face when we was trying to hang that thing in the oven. If I can find them, I will post pics of the other ones I did....they are much cooler looking. Cheers.

very neat.
I like the red you stained the horns with.

what are the bass horns underneath? I spose I missed the thread with the info on those.

They are JBL 4530 Scoops with JBL 2225 15" woofers. There are many bassist that use them on stage. These were built as furniture great home music cabs. Great midbass.

Very nice !!! I love the way you combine your love of art with your passion for great sound .

Yep, the art is a must. I've got a couple other projects in the works which I am spending more time on the look than the function.

You are one colorfull guy. That couch (obviously you wifes idea) has got to go. Other wise you only go def in one ear. Nice job.
