Old toy new color. (AK)

A couple of years ago I had tried out a new trick on one of the SAR 3's (AK in .223) It was only a test but it came out ok and I loved the color.

So it started raining yesterday and I was bored. Re did the furniture on it and I like the way it came out. And for those that say an AK has terrible accuracy needs to shoot this one. Of course that is why I got rid of all but one of my 7.62X39 toys.

Had a tricked Valmet Hunter (high-end AK) in .243 that was one of the best guns I have ever had at any pricepoint.
Accuracy was more like a bolt than an autoloader!
Never understood why a military rifle would be designed with such a noisy safety, however?
