Went to an estate sale in my neighborhood and purchased a set of 893A Coronas for $25. I was impressed with the build quality-veneer cabs with particle board rear. The Xovers are nicely assembled and have selector switch. They sound pretty good but being that old I will replace the caps.
Any suggestions on which caps to use for replacement?
(Callins CX PSD5-25NPS, 5uF 25V NP (4 total)
They are consecutive serial numbers but one cab has the velcro tabs stapled and the others are glued. I also notice they are built to be on their sides but the tweets are mis-aligned. One high and the other low.
The cabs have some scratches and the grills are darkended where the speaker cutouts are so I will have to find some AL replacement material.
