Fisher Console BSR needle question

Hi - I just picked up a "The Fisher" Diplomat console stereo and I need a needle for the BSR turntable it came with. Could you refer me to someone (or does someone here know) to pick the right one up? The console model # on the back is either P-293 and/or D-393 (not clear - both are listed). The info I can gather from the underside of the BSR changer is 3 different numbers. The first is UA 70/2, the second is AA 1551/143, and the third is handwritten, S43 L2.

This thing has a great sound, esp. for a smaller unit. Was it uncommon for 60s and early 70s consoles to have a woofer, tweeter, and a midrange?

Two and three way console speaker systems were quite common from the late 50's forward.

BSR used several different carts over the years. Can you supply us with a picture of the cartridge or spent stylus to go on?

Do you have any more pics of your Console, I just picked up a Fisher with a Diplomat Receiver and BSR turntable and am trying to figure out the year etc.

I believe I have the same Fisher Diplomat console (P-292). It was my Dad's and was rarely used in the past 25 years or so. It appears to be in very good condition. The turntable works; however I haven't spent much time with it to see how well. I have several vinyl albums too. The stereo sounds excellent. We had the unit in a garage sale but there was no interest in it. Can anyone tell me the approximate value of this unit and when it was made?
 
This is a post 1969 unit. And while still a Fisher, not the higher end in the consoles. It appears you have a 1/2" mount so you could upgrade cartridges. Don't know what this one would really be worth. The tube era Fisher consoles tend to be often worth more gutted for their components sadly. You have a nice console, it cost at least $500 plus when new. And one of the last years of Fisher consoles. Interesting bit of history.
 
Any stylus for an Astatic 133D or 139D will work in that cartridge.

They are the same basic cartridge with the 139D having extra mounting brackets for different applications.

My 1968 Coronado consolette with a VM changer had a 133D cartridge in it.
