Wiring DIAGRAM for XLR TO RCA

I am currently using Harmonix SLC Balance XLR cable to connect my Cary SLP-05 with AES Six Pacs. As you are aware that these cables costs in Thousands of Dollars and in no mood to buy a SE cable . I am in the process of assembling Audio Note 300B based SE amp. I am thinking of avoiding any converter in the chain due to signal loss. I will be very happy if I can use a female XLR in the amp end and wire accordingly to use the current XLR cable. Can anyone provide me a wiring diag? I thought of grounding the Pin 3 with a 10K Resistor instead of directly grounding pin 3 to ground. Will that be ok?

Here is a full chart. RCAs are unbalanced like the 1/4 plugs shown.

I'd wire the XLR jack with the unbalanced "hot" (normally RCA center pin) directly to Pin 2, and XLR Pin 3 directly to the unbalanced "ground/return" (normally RCA shell).

Personally, I'd float Pin 1 in the XLR jack for the first pass, thereby floating the shield connection at the power amp input.
