What you've got there is either a '59 Promenade (Model 310) or '60 Promenade II (Model 320) stacked on top of either a 130 (1959) or, respectively, a 140 (1960) extension speaker. The top unit with the record player should have legs, too. Perhaps they were removed for storage reasons. The chassis numbers are the same as the model numbers (310, 320). It should have a stereo amp and is probably well worth acquiring. The cabinet styling is very clean and mid-century modern (once you unstack them and re-install the legs). I don't know any details offhand but I'll look through my Fisher stuff and see what else I might have.
EDIT: The chassis number is 310 for both years. Tube compliment: EZ81, ECC83 (2) and ECL82 (4). Sounds like an interesting amp.

The turntable is the Garrard intermix model 210, without doubt, which on its own retailed for $44.50 in 1960. You could specify either stereo or mono wiring. I know it well since that's the deck I had as a kid and I still have the manual and sales brochure.

A closer inspection of the '59 and '60 catalogs (pictured below) reveals a major difference between the Promenade and the Promenade II. The one your having bad vibes about is a 1960 Promenade II. The difference is pretty obvious.
Also found an old AK thread with pictures and discussion of the 310 amp and separate pre-amp. Now you have to get it so we can figure out if it's ECL82 or 6BQ5 powered. I'm leaning toward the ECL82 since the OPTs are much smaller than any I've seen on Fisher 6BQ5 amps. But the amp does sort of look like a double-ended Fisher 30-A.

Well I went, I saw, and I left without it. It wasn't a bad deal but it wasn't a great deal either. The cabinets and changer were more beat up than the picture implied. The amp was indeed stereo with a pair of ECL82 for each channel. The OPTs were not enclosed and did not look that special. Maybe they were, what do I know.
What was the price? Was the other set of legs there?
WOW you could have flipped it for a little money, I would have said no if it was a few hundred or the legs were gone.

Were the bad vibes coming from the seller, your SO, your wallet or the record player itself? It wasn't haunted, was it? That would be cool - I'd pay extra for that feature.

Skip the road trip. Checked back later with the estate sale and it was gone, sold about 5 hrs into the day. There are several other AKers in town, maybe one of them got it? Anyway yeah the 'vibes' were a combination of things, primarily that my garage and basement already packed with too many projects and secondly the wife not caring much for the particular style style (even though I liked it) so if I bought it it would likely be gutted. Now it stands a 50/50 chance of staying in tact which would be nice. The money was't a big deal, heck that's a night for two at the movies anymore. My heart just wasn't into this one. I knew even before I started out it was probably just a reconnoissance mission.
Nope its not as cool as you think, for someone like me who can pick up those vibes it isn't so cool. I used to black out for a few seconds and when I came to I was somewhere else. I used to see a dead kid at my last job, these last few weeks I have been having a chill up my spine. I don't know what it is but it freak my friend out when I start doing that shaking thing. I just found a WWII Helmet and talk about getting strange vibes from an object. Heres another fun thing some times when i type, I go to proof read what I wrote and there will be words in there that I didn't tell myself to type. Freaky huh?
