A field you wish you had the time/money to delve into...

I wish I had the time and money to get an education in electrical engineering, including VLSI circuit design (I believe how CPUs and the like are constructed), and automotive technology. I'm super jealous of people who know how to fix cars. Lastly, a formal music education. I dabble in piano/keyboard, but am hindered by time constraints.

I was a Meteorological forecaster, technician, and briefer for 37 years. Are you by any chance a Cabinet maker, because this is my wish.
Cheers

heavy construction superintendent and math nerd..pretty good carpenter, I must say, but a bit heavy handed for cabinet grade work...can you say "measure with a micrometer, mark with a crayon, and cut with a hatchet"?:lmao:
I'm not that bad, but that's what I chide the woodpeckers/woodbutchers that work for me with..

Pretty good Carpenter could be also one of my wish. Too long was I stuck in clouds and lost in fog.

I would love to learn how to make guitars, violins, mandolins, cellos... Any and every arc topped, stringed instrument with f-holes. This and building beautiful audiophile home speakers from scratch has been a dream of mine since I was very young.

I'd love to learn to make guitars also. I'd also like to learn woodworking and cnc machining and use those skills to make wicked furniture.

I went to school for recording engineering and sound reinforcement way back in 1991, but I was young and chose to party and do other stupid things instead, so I didn't finish and graduate.

I wish I hadn't had been that stupid.

So yes, a career in audio would be my choice if I could do it over again.

I'd like to learn how to extend a human lifespan by tenfold (say, 800-1000 years), so that I could have enough time to learn and do MANY of these different things.

This would be long enough to have a fantastic life, but still short enough to avoid the nasty psychological problems that come with immortality. Ironically, if I knew I were going to live that long, I would actually feel MORE motivated to do things "while there is still time", than I do now. Perverse, but true, because now there are things that I don't even start or try, because I know I don't have enough years left to do them (all).

I'm happy with my work. A little more money would be nice. I'm also happy with my life for most parts, and content with my mortality.

What I wish I had, time or money can't provide, and I would not use it for monetary gain.

I wish I had a good (maybe better than good) singing voice.
