Technics SB-A52 any good?

I'm looking to buy a pair of Technics SB-A52 Floor Tower Speakers for $40. I can't find any info on them except for this ebay ad (see link). Any thoughts or info would be appreciated.

15 a pair is not bad, but don't expect really great sound from them. Garage speakers for sure though

I have a pair of SB-A34's, which look the exact same minus the tweeter. It's as if the whole SB line was just the same design repeated 50+ times with different kinds of drivers, and occasionally different amounts of them. The ones I have sound fine, nothing exemplary by any means. Bass is alright, mids are alright, highs are alright. They do, however, look pretty dern good imho. For $40, its hard to go wrong. I got them as a 5.1+receiver+tuner+cassete+5disc+cabinet set with a bad receiver for $20. My ears tell me I got a good deal. Test the 52's out for yourself and see what you think
