'Course, there's also the Shindo platter, but I can't count that one as an option!I've only seen them with black painted finishes like yours or with strobes.

Funny thing is, I actually like the orange plinth color quite a bit! I wouldn't have chosen it myself, but now that I see it, I'm considering it as an option.
I think Mr. Stradivari has already done more than his fair share of woodwork on my behalf - I might have to sneak into his woodshop when he's not around and have at it myself! We'll see how many fingers survive that endeavor!You should maybe get our buddy, the Stradivari of St. Paul to whip up a plinth for you.
