Minimus 77 surround works!!!!

I have just installed a pair of surrounds from an e b a y seller that work perfect and are a definite upgrade over the originals that are always rotted on any used pair I have purchased. CHECK EM OUT! They have a reverse roll on the surround and the inner edge is angled and fits the back of the cone as the original. I have looked forever to find one that works properly and doesn't need to be modified somehow. This is a straight up easy replacement that needs NO MODIFICATION! Link below:

okay, zombie thread revival, I know, but...

Just ordered a pair for my minimus 77's (which I got for about 10 bucks, I think, but of course surrounds were rotted) and I just have a question or two...

first, do you glue the INSIDE of the surround UNDER the lip of the woofer? Or is it that you place the new surround ON TOP of the woofer and glue?

Secondly, is there a crossover mod anyone recommends? Zilch? Anyone?

And why are these always second fiddle to the 7's?
