Hi. I have a Sansui 3500 tuner /amp. I have searched the web for this model and have not see it listed anywhere. Is it an oddball? Thanks. Jim

There were a number of components utilizing 3500 in their nomenclature, mainly receivers and speakers, no amps that I know of.

3500 Receiver 1969 – 1970
G-3500 Receiver 1978 – 1979
QRX-3500 Quad Receiver 1973 – 1975
RZ-3500 Receiver 1990 – 1991
RZ-3500 II Receiver 1992 – 1993

TB

Thanks TB. This one is just a plain 3500 Solid-State AM/FM Stereo Tuner Amplifier.

You must be referring to the 3500 Receiver from '69 I had mentioned. It's just the terminology, as an AM/FM Stereo Tuner Amplifier can also be referred to as a Receiver.

TB

Yes, that is it. The only other one I have seen anywhere. Thanks.

Meet #2 then. :D

I realize that this thread is a couple of years old, but....
I picked up one of these from a guy a few months ago and it is currently in use as my main receiver. Just thought I would share that...

It definitely sounds good to my ears (and that is what matters!) I swapped out a Marantz 2245 and put this Sansui in my main stereo. My Sansui 3500 also has the wood case but I have seen a picture of one without the case on it.
Does anyone have the specs for this model handy?
Thanks!

Here is my current setup:
Dual 1019-->Sansui 3500-->"A" Speakers Custom Fuselier's/ "B" Speakers are DCM CX-17. I use PS1 (playstation) for CDs and Pioneer CT-F8282 for the occasional cassette.
