In my never ending quest for all speakers rare, interesting, and sometimes excessive, I encountered these and they followed me home! Seller didn't know what they were. Neither did I until I did some research. Low price! :)

Kindel Audio Phantoms!

Both in excellent condition with grills. Two surrounds need fixing. Not much info on these but they appear to be well regarded. Foster ribbon tweet with Polydax dome mid and two small cone Polydax woofers. Passive radiator... Grills cover the top and front. Very shallow cabinets. Two sets of binding posts with external crossover too?!? Enjoy the pictures!

Those surrounds look to be thin rubber or PVC, might get away with using rubber cement on them. Otherwise, some Euro sellers on Ebay have rubber type surrounds, primarily for KEF B110 drivers which might work or you'd have to inquire if they have some for these early Audax Bextrene drivers.

I suspect these are Audax HD13B25H or J type drivers, somewhat similar to the Jim Rogers JR150 type drivers discussed in another recent thread "Mystery speakers 14"
 
Nice find, those really look interesting. Keep us posted on what you do to them and how they sound.

I listened to them at the previous owner's garage and in my garage. Can't really tell much except all the drivers work. But based on the driver complement it should have some real potential.

These are polydax/audax HD13B25H types with bextrene cones. The surrounds are mostly in one piece but have basically deteriorated and collapsed and are barely doing anything. One mid has some audible coil rub when touched because of this. I have a source of butyl surrounds for this size with wide rolls and will be seeing if I can get some to try out.

They look to be around 4 feet tall. They sit on factory stands which aren't shown in the pictures. They are very shallow and need the stands to keep them from tipping.

These are suppose to image very well. Haven't had two running at the same time so I can't confirm it.
