anyone know anything about this deck? Its a DJ table I believe, but I wanted to see if anyone has any feedback on it as a home table.

Belt drive table cloned to look like an SL-1200.

Poor specs, and mediocre sound.

For the $125 or so they sell for, you could find a superior vintage table.

As thedelihaus says, it's rubbish as a DJ deck, and even worse as a home deck!

G-A-R-B-A-G-E even as a DJ table, even worse for home use. Nothing to recommend it. A wannabe either way.

Picked one up recently for next to nothing -- and that is how I would rate performance. Screechy sounding with a lot of boominess from floor vibrations. The only similarity to a Technics is cosmetic.

Looks nice. But the tonearm sucks!:thumbsdn: Its a DJ tabel and must track around two grams. Cant track much lower. And as stated above, you can find better vintage stuff cheaper!

The 500 series is direct drive, I believe I am correctly recalling.

Better than the belt drive 400.

But still not anything I'd consider a good choice for home use.
