Well I was up until 3Am last night. Tolex was easier than I was thinking, but took time. Came out even better than I imagined. Can't wait to do another!
Named it "über1" as it it is, and my name is Huber. John

Vents are from an Akai M7. Where the amps came from. I cut the holes to mount them. The sound is pretty good, but it lacks some brightness. I need to look over what others have done. Beleive it or not, I don't really play. I used to have an acoustic. Always wanted an electric, but was always like well then I'll need an amp. So, I bought a cheap Squire on Cl the other day for $40. Now I can fiddle around.
I mounted the handle after I figured where it would balance. Think I should have spaced the mounts a little more. Still might. All in all I love this thing. Just need to make new labels for inputs and outputs.

That looks great!

I'll be starting a rebuild in a few weeks on a Roberts RTR version. I wondered how difficult putting new tolex on might be.

More photos and stuff showing the steps. As for the Tolex, just go for it. This was my first attempt. I do recommend the water based glue that mojo sells. No stink and not as messy. Linkaroo
