Finished! Kegger-designed SE EL84 monoblocks
These came together in an eleventh hour push. Yesterday Lance (westend) dropped off the bases, and last night I was up late huffing solder fumes, in a last desperate attempt to finish them before today's Cobblefest.

Plugged them in and...

How are you running the 6AU6? It's an interesting tube, with a lot of uses.

Is that a 6X4 for rectification?

Now if the OPT and PS transformer were chromed, you'd have something similar looking to a E.H Scott design.

Gorgeous! I just love the consistent aluminum color, it plays well with the color of the plates in the tubes, and the light wood makes the whole thing pop. Beautiful.
