Would this be worth it? Something I have never seen before

Found a Kenwood KR-8010 within 25 miles of me that has a price right now of $124.99. Seller says tested and works great, but my gut tells me otherwise. I have not contacted the seller yet though. One thing I noticed though (he took great pics of it), is that there is rust on the face plate in various spots. I've never seen rust on a unit before. Would that be a major concern? Can it be corrected to look great? Also in the rear there is even more rust and the contacts are in bad shape with oxidation. Can that be corrected as well?

A minty one did not sell on the auction site for $200. $125 is a little steep for a rusty one in my opinion.
