1958 fisher consolette. I bought this from a Priest. Its adorable and sounds great. the radio part stopped working so I recapped the mains and 1 of the IF transformers. that was tough. all worked out though. any questions please ask.

Can you tell me what kind of restoration you did/will do on this Garrard
changer? I have the same in a Canadian built Viking unit that was
bought by my mother in 1958, a project I have been contemplaing for years.

none really. It has been working great since I got it. It can probably use some lubing up. Most of the time thats all they need really. Maybe a new stylus.
 
That would be the cartridge. It appears to be a variable reluctance unit from GE, which is pretty darned desirable on it's own.
 
That would definitely be a GE VR. Great catch on that by itself, much less with the cool little consolette!

Replacement styli, both 78 and LP, are still available and fairly cheap.

IIRC, my father said I ought not play my stereo albums on the VRII equipped player we had, as the VRII will think the up and down part of the groove is dirt and scrape it out?
