OK, first listen to the just released Caravan and BU2B. Rush has really blown us away again. Caravan has a haunting opening, followed by some snarling bass from Geddy, then an absolutely bone crushing riff from Alex. Neil is more explosive and creative than ever, easily outdoing any of the work on SnA. There's a mind blowing fill at about 4 minutes into Caravan.
BU2B has another great riff, Rush is out with a vengeance. This stuff is heavier than even SnA. Neil again is tearing it up, there's huge power in his fills. I'm writing all this as I listen, I just can't believe how awesome these songs are. I didn't think SnA could be topped, but at this rate, Rush is going to smoke that album. I'm serious right now. This is a legend in the making. And I'm one of those Rush fans who would say that SnA is their best album, ever.
Did I mention that there's amazing solos from Alex in both songs? Can't get enough of this, wish I had more than my headphones right now. I'd crank it up and let Rush rattle some teeth! RUSH on, fans!
