Infinity RS9 Make-Over, Ideas?

Well here I go again........Franken speaker geeker! Found these for $30 in the local CL and grabbed them. Cabs are in pretty good shape, grills are needing new fabric. The xovers are still in the cabs.

I considered putting them back stock but finding all the drivers is going to be quite $$$ and difficult ar best, soooooooo here are my re-design thoughts, unless you have something better.

Drop in a good 12" cast frame woofer to fit the volume on the upper woofer hole. Open up the lower woofer hole to fit a 15" passive, open up the mid hole to fit a nice cast frame 6.5" poly cone, modify the upper two holes to fit a couple- or perhap just one- ribbon tweeter. I have all the drivers waiting a good project boxes/ cabinets and these look to be good donor candidates!!

Any thoughts guys? I could really use a good AC unit about now as the Texas weather has turned very hot and grim out in my garage......

Blasphemy!!!! Haha, actually that sounds like a pretty cool project, gonna keep up with this one. I have always loved the looks of those cabinets, so what ever you come up with will at least look pretty impressive.

I had some RS-9s and those aren't it. Those are the Kappa 9s.

MY mistake you are most correct- at least I had the 9 part right!! I knew better just did not say better........damn getting old is a birch......when my body is not failing me then it's my mind.......
