I am looking for a replacement tweeter for a friend.
He has Sound Dynamics R-818 speakers. The tweeters were made by Tonegen/Foster of Japan. They are a 6ohm tweeter with a metal dome coil. 1" multilaminate dome. The speaker crossover is 2.2 khz.
The numbers on the back of the tweeters are:
5DR53056
L51TND
Can anyone offer assistance? He would like to replace them with the originals.
If he can't, does anyone have any replacement suggestions?
Specs on the R-818:
Amp Pow: 15-200 Watts
Max Pow: 175 Watts
Impedance: 8 Ohms min 12 Ohms Max
The R-616 and the R-515 had the same tweeters in them.
