i was wondering if anyone was gonna snag those. i am real interested in your opinion on how these pups sound, the horn looks interesting as hell

When I went to see them, he had them on a pair of huge monoblocks. Can't remember what they were, but damn near the size of the front of the horns..

Anyway he put on the theme to Star Wars and my jaw dropped.. sounded like sitting in a theater only louder.. sound was all around you and you couldn't pinpoint it.. we were about 25 feet back from them..

The horn drivers are bigger than a 10" woofer... I'd say they weigh about 30 lbs each or more..

LOL.. yeah, just hang the horns in the corner of the living room Zilch... :D

Here's a couple pictures... Not sure if I bagged them or they bagged me.. damn near broke my back..

Third horn is sitting in the den..

The horn drivers are 2446J 16 ohm.. the woofers are 2226H supposedly. I'm going to go out in a few and pull one and check.. I got no idea what the model number of just the horn is..

No.. not bad.. just don't pass up a chance to make a buck, and play with some cool toys in the process..

I believe you have the 4675A or B series. Those will have come out of a movie theater most likely. Do you have the crossover with them?

Specs here: http://www.jblpro.com/pub/obsolete/Theater_Systems1.pdf

Pay attention to the wiring of the drivers. Download the full spec sheet for the crossover to determine proper wiring of the horn with that series of drivers. The crossover is designed for 16 ohm tweeter and a 4 ohm woofer cabinet.

Cheers,

David

Well.. I'm not liking this... The woofer I pulled is a recone.. 2225H I hope they aren't all recones... that's gonna hurt the value..

Here's a few pictures of the drivers. If anyone can decypher the cones?
