are these any good receivers i know they are not high grand.and who made them.and do you know how many watts per channel are these thanks frank

I have a LXI gifted from my father. Sounds quite good and built rather well. I'm guessing it's genuine Sanyo. Sanyo gets little respect with hi-fi audiophiles but it made a lot of Fisher fans happy after they moved production to Japan. That said, I prefer my USA made Sherwood SE-200 & S-7900A receivers.

I'd say my similar LXI has 30 watts per channel and uses a 3 gang FM tuner. I guess you could also say the Sanyo production for Fisher also lost a lot of Fisher fans! Anyhow, a LXI is pretty good in my opinion, especially if you are not too hung up on brand names and the opinions of others

i have a lxi mini component stereo. built by sanyo with a sanyo power module. its been delegated to carport duty and has served bravely now for over a year with no issues.
