MC240 off to Terry

Work has really picked up for me. My time for rebuilding has vanished. So off to Terry my MC240 goes. Being somewhat obsessive about things, I've had a shipping box made for my baby. This should do well to protect this 60 pound beast.

There are many different grades and types of foam you can buy from your local foam supplier/fabricator. This is spedifically 2" polyethylene CNC cut to fit the amp. The box is 275# double wall. Working at a box manufacturer does have it's perks. :D
 
Talked with Terry yesterday and I'm about 10 days away from bench time. They say good things come to those who wait and I already know Terry is "the man" when it comes to things Mac, so the returned amp should be sublime.

I love the packaging. Send it Fedex. UPS will run a fork lift through it trying to pick it up after a semi crushed it pulling out of the terminal.

The MC240 looks great.
 
I'm sure Terry will also be happy about the form-fit foam (say that 3 times after a 6-pack of beer!). I've seen him spending a lot of time carefully packing something to go back to its owner. Amazing he can do that with the space he has in his garage.

This is one I won't have to give a polish job to, will just have to dust off the cat hair before it goes back in the box.
 
Terry is off and running with my amp and already the tubes glow. It only gets better from here. :banana:
