VO6B Diode help please

I believe this package is called a SOD-523 but I can't find it anywhere off hand. It belongs in a Kenwood Power Supply and I need a replacement. Hopefully one of you gents have run across these before. All input is appreciated. I believe it is made by Hitachi. The packaging is not so important as a DD-41 or 35 I believe would work. Also I believe it is 100v/1.1Amp.
Also Kenwood lists a zener diode as EQA01-33R that I can not find a cross reference for that hopefully a Kenwood man might know about.

Post a schematic and some of the armchair bench techs here can likely figure out the voltage if it is a zener. Need to see the components around it and how it is used in the power supply.

For the VO6B would the ON Semi 1n4002G work in this case? And a Fairchild 512-1N5257B work for the EQA01-33R? This is the first time I've ever ordered out of the catalog as I think you can tell. I believe I have a part breaking down under load as I tested all parts and all diodes test well as with other parts so I'm just replacing everything on my PS board to take care of this problem child. Your help is greatly appreciated men and I'm learning like crazy. I've been reading forever and now is as good as time as any to jump in head first.

Probably would be fine but the current rating of the original looks to be 1.4A (100V) - your suggested replacement is 1A (100V) - to be sure, look for rectifier diodes in the series 1N481x (1N4817) OR 1N539x (IN5392) which are 1.5A rated (@100V). (NB: Unlikely to be SOD 253 more likely DO15 or DO27 case style)
A bit pedantic here - but if you are just starting out, you need to be aware that small differences in spec' can make a big difference when you power up for the first time.

Voltage too low - original is 100V - you choice above is 50V - again in this instance it would probably be OK, you need to get into the habit of matching the spec's - 1N5392 (100V) is the one you want in this range - I wouldn't fit a 50V diode here.

There is a HUGE number of alternatives for these - and its OK to go up in voltage and current - but if you go too high the component itself starts to get bigger (and the leads get thicker), and then won't fit on the PCB like the old one did.
