First, these pictures are from Sansui Vintage line catalog, and and if Sansui says it's vintage line, who are we to argue about..:lmao:
Pepa man :thmbsp:
Don’t believe in everything you see or is written in this catalogue.
Maybe you could put pictures (and a small description) of your Sui's from this line (no matter is C/B -2301 )
Now, I won't say anything new,it's already known fact. When a product is more expensive it plays better.
I can confirm it by direct comparison, since I have several Sansui amplifier models(AU9900a, AU20000, AU607MRX, AUX1111, C/B2301) in my room.
However, there is one BUT and it is the fact that even the best / the most expensive amp at some records and in a particular type of music lags behind the cheaper models ...
If I have to sort them by the type of music, then my list looks like this:
List of the listening from the CDP:
Jazz
1.AUX1111/AU9900
2.C/B2301
3.AU20000/607MRX
Pop/rock
1.C/B2301/AU20000
2.AUX1111
3.AU9900/607MRX
Classics
1.AUX1111
2.C/B2301
3.AU607MRX/AU9900
4.AU20000
And this is the list of the turntable listening:
Jazz
1.C/B2301 /AUX1111
2.AU9900/AU20000
3.607MRX
Pop/rock
1.C/B2301/AU20000/AUX1111
2.AU9900/607MRX
Classics
1.C/B2301/AUX1111
2.AU20000/AU9900
3.AU607MRX
C/B 2301 is a right fit for the turntable.Any kind of music suits him and draw maximum ....
These two lists represent my choice, after one year of the listening and comparing with the same loudspeakers /cables. I'm sure that some other audiophile would make quite a different list, and that's what all of us are already used to, because no one has the same hearing or taste.
