Hiya,
Not even sure how to phrase this for even a Google search and everything I have tried has come up with nothing much so I will throw this out to you my brethren.
I have a couple consoles and I have a couple cats which love to hang out on them. Now my usual way of getting kitty to knock something off is a gentle shush or squirt bottle.
Well I really don't want to squirt water at the consoles and I don't want to startle them creating a paws don't fail me now moment with scratching.
And I am not gonna get rid of the cats nor the consoles. :nono:
I know to put tempered glass on the top but that does not work so well with hinged lids. Unless I move it each time I open the top. And I don't want to use any sort of adhesive as that would eventually damage the finish. Although I suppose as long as the glass never moves it might be ok as these will be with me until they bury me in them or something (The consoles that is)
So two questions.
1. Any ideas on protecting the hinged lids ??
2. If the most feasible answer is to fasten a glass panel what would one use as a adhesive that will not look like crap and will hold until converted at my demise. ??
Frannie
