SL-1300 part question

Hi all, have only posted a few things in these forums, and have now moved into messing with my troublesome 1300. I say troublesome, but for the price I paid, it has been worth the "trouble." Anyways, it appears as though I need to replace the feet on the unit. My guess is that they're the original feet, but I looked in the service manual, got the part # for the feet and cannot find them anywhere. Can I use any feet to put on my tt or do they need to be of a specific type?

Sorry for the dumb question, but I'm completely new at this and am just trying to get right without blowing through loads of $.

Well, you could try racquet balls cut in half as a temporary measure. Or do a google search for adjustable feet. My VPI Scout uses cones that screw into the bottom of the table. Just some food for thought. I would imagine that some of the Technics owners here will probably have better suggestions.

I'm wondering this also. I just picked up a sl-1300 for $25 and the feet are rotted away. Only has one decent foot on it. I'm wondering if I can use some sort of rubber bushing and maybe a felt pad like furniture moving pads?

borrowed these from a hitachi that was otherwise worthless. better than the original, now rotten, technics pos

What model Hitachi did those come off of?
