Pretty nifty, Frannie! Funny what you can find hiding in those old tired consoles sometimes ;)

Keerist! I thought I was changing out a SARGO(submarine) battery there for a second when I cranked the Handtruck with the Executive on it thru the door. DAMN, that sucker is heavy. With everything except the X10 mounted, it's gotta weigh everybit of 275. Good thing I've got plenty of Oxycodone and Fentanyl Patches. Gonna need them! Feels like my back has been split lengthwise!!

NOTE TO SELF! Any Console larger than a CE VIII get 3 more people!!

Documentation shows it to be a 1963 MODEL 950 EXECUTIVE that was 1st sold in 1966. 800-C, Garrard Type "A-II" Changer, K-10 Space Expander (2 piece) with the Remote control pot (mounted on the back, top center). There are also two pots in the back panels that are marked "Presence".

Output's are FISHER Branded, and from what I could see in there all the rest are too. Fair amount of dust, and some chromium dust on the speaker connectors and chassis. The faceplate is excellent, the cabinet is Very good to excellent. Interesting design the Italian Prov. I actually like it. Once she gets it opened up Fran will give us all a rundown.

She's a good hand, and enjoys the gear. We had a good time, even with all the IDIOTS on the road. Remember Fran. NORTH IS AT THE TOP OF THE MAP/CHART. LOL!

Hiya,

Where do you plug in the iPod??

Somewhere in the middle of all that spaghetti in the back I think ?? :scratch2:

This sucker is a Polka Playing monster. I don't think ITune's has much Polka :D

Frannie

Is that a 10" platter? I might have a brown Garrard mat that would fit, if I didn't toss it out. If I still have it, it's yours, free of charge.

Hiya,

any idea what kind of speakers are in there?

single 12 inch woofer , two 5 inch mids and a single 3.5 inch tweeter per side.

Also I have one of the two WS-1 satellite speakers.

Sam,

That would be awesome as for whatever reason this one is beat up.

Larry,

I don't read maps as being lost is a hobby for me :)

Another victory for The AK Mid-Atlantic Fisher Console Rescue Squad!

I was out last night at the My Morning Jacket show & came home to a message from Frannie - "We gotta save this one from The Flippers!"
The Flippers, of course, are the AKMAFCRS's archenemies...
PM's flew fast & furious to Larry - known to The Squad as "Captain Trailer"... and another console was conserved. I'm so happy for you, Frannie. It's gonna sound great. I think you'll find the speakers are surprisingly good, & well mated with that 800C.
But I warned you guys how heavy those Execs are. We're lucky nobody's wearing a truss.:scratch2:
