Not much on the news yet. I'm watching on local TV. Looks pretty bad. Pray for those who need it.

Reno air race crash please pray!

I just saw on the news that a P-51 crashed into the grand stand and has killed a few people. They called it. "A Massive casualty incident"

Just wanted to let you all know.

Please pray for the injured and family's

Scott

I've said this before, more than once, even though it's a very unpopular opinion...air shows should be absolutely outlawed. They place everyone's lives at risk for nothing more than entertainment. Every thrill seeker places his own life at risk, whether he's bungee jumping or running the bulls at Pamplona. That's different. This activity places every spectator's life at risk, even though none of them really think about it. Until it's too late.

Another pointless, senseless tragedy for everyone who was there.

Video at msnbc.com now.

Looks like it went nearly straight down into a crowd standing in front of the stands.

One of my best friends I've know since the '80s goes to this event every year to crew on one of the planes. I'm trying to reach him now from NC because I don't know if he went this year or not.

Prayers to all the families.

Prayers to those lost & those who have lost. I am glad I got to see the races at Reno one time.

I couldn't agree with you more. I had the chance to go to the Selfridge Air Show nearby with Liberty a month ago or so. Only one person died at that show, it was quite the success.

C'mmon people.....folk's die in roller coasters, swimming in the ocean, watching rallies, Nascar, collapses in stadiums, fires in stadiums, mobs in stadiums, nutz with guns..and so on....why stop the activities....more people die from car accidents than anything else, should we stop driving?
