funniest wrong lyrics

Sometimes when you get the wrong lyrics to the song it's just too funny.

Take my wife for instance. In Van Morrison's "Brown Eyed Girl", he starts it off with "Hey where did we go..." . For the longest time she thought it was "Hey Rodrigo".

My mom thought Hall and Oates "Man Eater" was "Bandita".

When I was a kid in 5th grade I used to hang out at the local game room with the rest of the hoods. I remember getting laughed at for scratching "Rock and Roll Ain't No Illusion" of course by ACDC. I thought I was scarred for life for that one. I'm almost 43 and can laugh about it now.

I know there are some funny ones out there. Please share! Thanks.

Probably the most famous is Jimi Hendrix..."Scuse me while I kiss this guy". Which spawned www.kissthisguy.com which is a website devoted to misheard lyrics. Some are hilarious, some are obviously contrived.

A buddy of mine always used to sing "big old jam at the lighthouse" for Steve Miller's Jet Airliner.

A couple of others...

"There's a bathroom on the right"...Bad Moon Risin'

"Take a load of Fanny/take a load for free" It's Annie not Fanny

"Where you goin' with the master plan" Plush

Not a song, but remember the TDK jingle? Maybe Australia only?
"TDK does ama-zing things to my system?"
Mate thought it was "TDK does amazing things to my SISTER"!
Funny stuff.

Barry Manilow once said that a fan ran up to him after a concert and commented on her and her kid's love for "Looks Like Tomatoes" (Looks Like We Made It).

did kissthisguy.com list Deep Purple's biggest hit, "Slow Motion Walter, fire engine's guy..."

(Smoke on the Water, fire in the sky)

John Prine tells a story of a fan that wanted to hear the song, "Happy Enchilada." He said he didn't write a song like that and asked the fan how it went. The fan said, "You know, it's a happy enchilada and you think your gonna drown."
The correct words are, "It's a half an inch of water and you think you're gonna drown."

When Billy Joel's "It's Still Rock 'n Roll to Me" played on the radio, a long ago ex used to sing: "You could really be a boy from a baby..."
I'm not sure she believed me when I said the line was: "You could really be a Beau Brummell, baby."

A friend of mine confused Trooper's "Raise a little hell" for "Raise a little owl", still not sure why anyone would write a rock song about that...

Gary Numan, "Cars," correct lyrics: "It keeps me stable for days in cars." I thought it was: "I got me sable fur dice in cars."

Hues Corporation, "Rock the Boat," correct lyrics: "Your arms have held me safe from a rolling sea." I thought it was: "Your arms have held me safe from a rolling pin." I was 12 years old, and I knew about rolling pins from Andy Capp cartoons.

An older guy I used to work with had an office that was a pass-through to another part of the building said to me "Ron, what is he saying? FLEA SPRAY?". It was J. Geils FREEZE FRAME. That still makes me laugh.
