GF 283 and Samsung DVD on first pic.

Anthem PL1 and Blue Circle USB on second.

PrimaLuna amp on third.

Left system on fourth.

All tubes, on the input, preamp, and amp. Going to be making some DAC changes soon.

very nice indeed! how do the the TimeFrames sound on the tubes? how much power?

TY, they sound great. The TF 350's have new woofers, replaced caps in crossovers, and added 5-way binding post terminals.

The PL5 has 36/w channel. Plenty of power for the TF. I also have a pair of TW1 and Magnepan SMG.

I should add info about my DIY rack. My wife got granite countertops for the kitchen, so I got a huge slab of maple butcher block from an island. I had a pro cut it down into 3 sections that are 20 x 30, bevel all the edges, and refinish all the cuts. Works pretty well. A well known retailer would have charged about 1K each for these two inch thick behemoths. The actual rack that holds everything is from Uline.

Keep in mind I move twice a year, so I have to be able to haul all this gear on short notice. That's why I store CD's in copy paper boxes.

Nice system. Just a suggestion, swap your speakers. DCM recommends to place the speakers with the emblems facing inward. That will give you some real nice soundstage.

I really liked my PrimaLuna Prologue Five amp. Now why did I get rid of it? Oh yeah, to buy a pair of 7 mono amps, but why did I get rid of those? Great sounding amps! Have you tried replacing the 12AU7 tubes with 12BH7 tubes?

No I haven't tried that. I don't do a lot of tube rolling.

I'm so happy with the PL I'm going to thin the herd down.

Thanks, got a deal on it a few years ago off Agon. It was my first tube preamp.

Changing to the 12BH7 rather than the 12AU7 was probably the biggest improvement I ever heard on my PL amps. I also changed to EH KT88 with good results.

Added a Rega DAC yesterday. Just finishing up a 24 hour burn in.
