Coloured Vinyl!! Love It or Hate It??

Hey guys, the more I look for some rare hard to find/score LP's the more coloured ones appear....I personally don't like the coloured vinyl as it just sems to be fake looking to me....however some coloured ones are the more collectable as in Soundgarden's Superunknown, I am aware though some black vinyl's are more sought after when the coloured are more common like Division Bell, black is more collectible there.....So in dshort which would you prefer? and what do you own in colour? I only have Division Bell in Blue...

Out of a few thousand records, I reckon there is about 2 coloured discs in there. I don't out look for them.

I have a weakness for coloured vinyl. I have a number of colour vinyl LPs, including a white white album pressing (the famous German DMM pressing) and Husker Du's Zen Warehouse on blue vinyl. I'm inspired now to make a list of them. Will repost later here with the list.

I think that stuff is very cool.

love it! I've got a red copy of Led Zeppelin II, a red copy of Aja, and the yellow copy of we're an American band pictured earlier. oh, and I've got a lime green special st. patrick's day edition of the Dropkick Murphys concert that they did in Boston on St. Patrick's day!

I like red ones. I can remember as a kid when a next-door neighbor guy brought over a orange LP of Turn, Turn, Turn! he'd bought while doing a tour in 'Nam. He was the coolest!

opaque yellow copy of VU & Nico

white copy of Their Satanic Majesties' Second Request (Brian Jonestown Massacre)

pink copy of Pink by Boris

those are some I know of right now

I love buying something and not knowing its coloured (i.e., sealed, no sticker indication) and then getting home and opening it and, whoa!, bright red vinyl.

oh by the way to answer the o.p.'s question -- LOVE IT!

& I think as someone else said I don't seek it out, but it's nice to stumble upon it.

Found another one -- Pipe Dream by Jimi Hendrix (recent bootleg reissue) on white
