Would anyone have a picture of Scott S-12 speakers?

I am still trying to ID the large pair of speakers I posted about in the last week or so.

Mine have a 15" woofer, the chart on HHScott.com lists an S-12 with a 15" woofer but they do not have a picture. My speakers came with a few 1964-ish Scott items.

Would anyone have a picture of the S-12 ? I found little on google.

Did you look on eBAY? If so, and no luck, search completed auctions, too. Sooner or later EVERYTHING turns up on eBAY... even stuff that never existed :-)

Did you try the HH Scott website? oops, nevermind, just looked there. They have size listed, but no photo.
 
The Scott website leaves a little something to be desired, IMO. I've run across at least a couple of models that aren't listed. In fact, my own S-10B's (10" 2-way) aren't listed, but there's an S-10 (10" 3-way) listed. Go figure. - Mark
 
Scott speakers do not get the interest the tube stuff does.

Someone here pointed out that the "137" code on the drivers means "CTS" CTS did supply drivers to Scott, but apparently supplied a bunch of other people too.

When you get right down to it, the manufacturer of the speakers isn't important, they work fine, but are nothing special. The paper cone tweeters do not have the high end range of say; the "titanium" domed tweeters on the pair of AR TSW 510 I also found.

But it BUGS me not being able to find out who made them !! The construction seems to nice to be "homemade" but they could have been some type of "kit".

The S12 is a 4-way, and has 6 drivers inside the cabinets.

Although that photo sort of looks like it, it looks a bit tall.

Paulfxl, if it really BUGS you so much, post some photos so we can see them, and perhaps some of us gurus can actually help you out. Sight unseen can only get you more speculation. Think about what you're asking for a minute. Since you have the actual product, why have US speculate and post photos of what YOU think they might be. I mean. . c'mon already.

The Falcon has spoken. Do with it what you will.

This is what my speakers look like. I picked them up this weekend. And I should mention the speaker does not say S-12 anywhere on it. I was just going by the size on the Scott website.

One benefit is if the original speakers ever crap out or don't sound good one can install modern drivers and a new crossover same still have great speakers.
 
That is what I was thinking when I found them. I also have the New Advent Loudspeaker with the curved front edges and a pair of Ohm C2. So far, the Ohm C2 are my favorite. They are the same ones that are on ebay all the time. I have the new woofer in them, it blew me away the first time I turned up the volume.

Didn't know it was resurrected.

However, I did more research and found that there were a TOTAL of six drivers in BOTH cabinets, which means they could have only been 3-way speakers.

These are most definitely Scott S12's. Period.

If you hurry, you can get the original 1968 (I think) HH Scott speaker brochure all about them (and other Scott speakers) on ebay for $10. (no , I'm not the seller).
