Opinions on the McIntosh XRT2K Speakers?

Hey guys, has anyone here ever gave a critical listen to McIntosh's flagship speaker? Is it all show no go? A good price? Opinions?

Oh, and why are there so many terminals on the back?

That is one crazy looking speaker. I am guessing that all of those terminals are for using separate amps.

That way Mcintosh can sell you more amps! I would be inclined to think they sound pretty good, but since I have not heard them, that would just be speculation on my part.
