In reading this thread post#19 Echowars suggest replacing zener diode Dk4 with a 13v or 12v instead of the stock 14v to better match the offset on opamp IC6 of the IF, MPX board. Dk4 is stock at 14V 500mW. Can anyone provide a part number for an appropriate 13v or 12v zener? Mouser prefered.

For Dk4 YZ-140; use a 1N5242B (12V 1/2w) to even out the + - to within .5V difference. This is EW's set up for Op-Amp (ICb6) mod on MPX Board.

Also on that board, he suggests the following preventive diode replacements;
Dk2 Zener Diode, YZ-140(14V 1/2w); replace with Zener Diode 1N5244B (14V 1/2w)

Dk1 Zener Diode EQA01-35R 35V 1/2w; replace with two 1/2w Zener Diodes in series. 18+17= 35V, 1N5248B & 1N5247B. Per EchoWars, two 1/2w Zeners (18V & 17V), in series, would provide a more reliable component and provide the specified 35V.

Mouser or Digikey are reliable, for these parts I used Diodes Inc. or Fairchild parts
