Great idea. Interesting to see the results. Also would be interesting to see a poll of preference vinyl, tape, cd, mp3, flac , maybe done in an order or personal preference. I not so computer literate to know how.
 
31, but I think I got my first record player more than 10 years ago. It was not retro trendy then, it was just obsolete garbage.

As for preferences, vinyl, flac/mp3, cd, fm, am. Magnetic media has no place in my heart. I rewound too damn many 8 tracks and cassettes when I was a teenager to be inclined to fool with them anymore.
 
I have Technics 1200 mkll, Thorens 125 mkll, Sansui xp 99, Thorens 165, Garrard zero 100 ( idler ), and Garrard 630 for 78 rpm, only six !
 
Just turned 48 last week... only 4 TT's, but over 3000 lps, more that that in CD's and digital downloads... and I have cassette, R2R and an 8-track recording deck...
 
turntables, well, AR/XA, Technics SL-DL1, Thorens TD-160, Garrard Zero-100, Garrard Lab 80, Garrard Type A-II, Garrard RC88/4. I don't quite know how I've gotten so many of these English masterpieces but I don't mind them.
 
43,not really into records so much nowadays (but still buy S/H occasionally) tend to listen to CD's,despite once spending a small fortune on a Linn Sondek/Zeta tonearm/Koetsu Black Goldline cart.

Makes me wonder if the wife's been tellin me the truth :sigh:
 
I'm 55, grew up with records but don't listen to them too often. I do have a turntable, a Technics SL-Q300. I'm curious about the pending U-Turn Orbit...
