Wow Marantz 9's in Ontario for sale

A pair of Marantz Model 9 Tube power amplifiers. They have been tested and seem to fully work, but are not guaranteed to work to original specs. The amplifiers come complete with tubes and cages. The tubes have not been tested and therefore we do not know how much life is left in them. The faceplates and meters as seen in the pictures are in fantastic condition as is the chassis. The cages have a few scratches here and there and could easily be restored by the buyer. The tubes are not the same brand in both amplifiers, one amplifier has ampex bugle boy EL34's and the other has sylvania EL34's. The other tubes are a mix of g.e & westinghouse. The Amplifiers both produce outstanding sound and both meters work fine for testing bias.


I emailed the seller, $4100 isn't a bad price for a pair of 9's right? This is the reply:

The amplifiers is not sold yet.Its condition is excellent with no issues at all.It's all original, comes in the original hardshell case.

I left town a few days because i will became a grandfather for the second time and i have to take care of my nephew until my daughter returns from lying-in hospital.
