On a constant search...
Hi Guys,
I don't normally like to post about another subject when I already have another thread going about this driver, but my other thread doesn't really highlight my requirement in the title.
Basically what I am after is some info on an old EMI 15" woofer driver (circa 1970's) I have that I want to build into a project speaker. See build here.
Having googled this driver quite substantially I am brought to a link to a ebay reviewer who has written a couple of pages about EMI drivers in general. In one of the pictures it is possible to see my driver and it is described as a EMI 315. See here. Just search the page for 'EMI 315'.
Also I have found that EMI fitted this kind of driver into the EMI Benjamin series of speakers, again alot of searching was not conclusive.
What I would like to find out is the power rating, efficiently, frequency response and any other nitty gritty info. I know they are 8ohms.
Please see pictures of mine below.
I must comment that I absolutely love the basket construction, so heavy duty!
